Graphic 45 Couture Classy Ladies

Hiya,

My post today is to show you a couple of birthday cards I made recently. The first one is a commission item and as I was making it I thought I would make a second similar one while I was doing all the cutting and die cutting etc.

I love Graphic 45 papers and especially this Couture collection, so easy to make lovely projects with all the matching papers and accessories.

The second one was with some Stampin Up background paper (the lovely die cut flowers and lace doilies are SU too).

I was so pleased I made two...I often try to do that so not only have a got a back up card, but also a little reminder if I want to make another.

This one was used as a back up card for a friends birthday that crept up on me !

For now

Happy Crafting

Christmas Cards 2016

Hi There

Just a quick post to share the Christmas Cards I have made this year.

In an  attempt to use up all my Christmas Paper Stash I don't remember where I originally got the paper for these but I have used the  Jars Of Love Stamp Set and the sentiments are from the Tin of Tags Set, both from Stampin' Up !

I am quite sure these papers came from an old edition of making cards, the toppers are from LC Designs and come as a pack of images. The circle bauble sentiments are from Craftwork Cards.

Love these...picture not great for the last two lots, these were simply papers from a First Edition Pack, some left over gift tags from last year and some rub on sentiments.

These are again from a pack of toppers from LC Designs, the dotty paper is from Anne Marie and the sentiments once again from Stampin' Up! Tin of Tags Stamp Set.

I am pleased with them and they have all been posted out now.

Happy Christmas

Beautiful Baby Cards

Hi There

Had a bespoke order for a New Baby Card and a Christening Card for a Baby Boy. I realised that I hadn't made any Baby cards for ages.
So after finding some supplies I lost my crafty mojo......lol

So after a visit to my best crafty friend ( my mum) and borrowing some extra supplies I was on a roll !

Once I had finished my two ordered cards I was having so much fun I made some more to add to my folksy shop.

So if you would like a special card for a new arrival head on over to my Folksy Shop and have a look, I can always make similar cards to the ones in stock to suit you, please just ask.

Til next time

Personalised Sparkly Card

Hello,

I am sharing with you today a card I made for my Mum who loves a bit of bling and glitter....and I think I hit the mark !

The card layers are gold mirri, purple glitter and a colour washed design paper.

These layers are then topped with four Spellbinders triangle die cuts arranged into a square (not as easy as I thought it would be).

A matching purple ribbon was wrapped across the middle.

I cut the initial from a square die cut and layered this again on purple glitter and gold mirri card .

I finished off with die cut leaves and a tissue paper flower and some ready made flowers.

I then painstakingly added diamond gems all around and finished off with some pearls.

Thank you for looking.

Rose Happy Birthday

I was commissioned to make a birthday card and I am so happy with the way it turned out and I love the colours.

The background paper is, I believe made by Hunkydory which found it's way into my stash from a friend. The colours are lovely and bright and cheerful and very feminine.

The blue background card is Pool Party by Stampin Up and the die cut stitched squares are by Crealies. These are useful sets of nested dies that come in lots of different shapes. The circle die cuts are from the same range.

The sentiment is the Hero Art Happy Stamp and Cut set.

To finish I added some flowers and embellished with some pearls.

Hope you like it.

If you like my cards you can find a variety for sale in my online shop at www.folksy.com.

Sweet Paris Shadow Box

After heading back into my memory banks I am again getting the hang of this blog posting lark (bear with me though please...) and would like to share with you today the shadow box I made for Mothers Day.

I used Dovecraft Sweet Paris paper and accessories so it all matched beautifully.

I used Tim Holtz Tattered Florals for my blooms and Hero Arts Happy Stamp and Cut for the sentiment. I also scuffed (is that the technical term ?)  and inked all the edges.

I also added lots of little embellishments that I had to build up the picture. I had also dug out my trusty sewing machine and stitched some of the background, I have never tried this before and found it added additional dimension.

The end result, in its box was VERY well received and appreciated by Mum.

Thanks for looking.
