Sweet Paris Shadow Box

After heading back into my memory banks I am again getting the hang of this blog posting lark (bear with me though please...) and would like to share with you today the shadow box I made for Mothers Day.

I used Dovecraft Sweet Paris paper and accessories so it all matched beautifully.

I used Tim Holtz Tattered Florals for my blooms and Hero Arts Happy Stamp and Cut for the sentiment. I also scuffed (is that the technical term ?)  and inked all the edges.

 I also added lots of little embellishments that I had to build up the picture. I had also dug out my trusty sewing machine and stitched some of the background, I have never tried this before and found it added additional dimension.

The end result, in its box was VERY well received and appreciated by Mum.

I haven't blogged in a long time.....about 4 years !!
I had different reasons for blogging back then that don't apply now so I thought I would start afresh for the plans and ventures I have in mind now.
